The WDO invites the global public to vote for the most influential leader and diplomat of the year. The candidate whose votes reach 95–100% of the ten-thousand-vote target is crowned the Person of the Year.
Voting Do's & Don'ts — Rules & Regulations
Do's
- Vote only once per person — duplicate votes are disqualified.
- Vote based on the candidate's genuine achievements and service to humanity.
- Provide truthful, verifiable references from trusted international sources.
- Disclose your real relationship or affiliation to the candidate honestly.
- Answer all rigorous questions thoroughly and respectfully.
Don'ts
- Do not vote more than once or use multiple identities.
- Do not submit fabricated or unverifiable references.
- Do not campaign using hate speech, defamation, or false claims.
- Do not offer or accept bribes, gifts, or favours in exchange for votes.
- Do not misrepresent your affiliation to the candidate.
Strict Rules & Regulations
All votes are reviewed by the WDO Electoral Committee. Submissions with fabricated references, duplicate identities, or incomplete rigorous-question answers are rejected. The WDO reserves the right to verify every reference against the cited international media, government, diplomatic mission, or international organization (including the United Nations). Vote counts and progress bars are displayed publicly as the official record of the election. By casting a vote you confirm that the information you provide is true and accurate to the best of your knowledge.
